Training and Education
Galway Traveller Movement & Community Employment for Travellers
The GTM CE Scheme is one of the means by which the GTM works towards the provision of new educational opportunities for Travellers which will increase their capacity to become involved in the project itself as well as in educational, social and economic activities in the wider community.
The CE programme is based on a belief that if Travellers are to reach their potential, Travellers must be provided with opportunities and support to undertake training and development, to take an active role in the labour market, and to develop enterprises where appropriate towards moving to a situation of independency, self empowerment and self-sufficiency.
